More reasons to love Grant BarrettIn addition to being the first of my friends to have a real-life published book on the market, Grant now has the dubious distinction of being the first of my friends to be referenced in the Times' On Language. Thankfully Safire was away this weekend. I reckon he's rolling over in his grave (I mean, he IS undead, right?) knowing that his fine column was sullied by such a declasse topic. Go Grant!

Thanks, Mizz Sally. You make me red in the face.
(PS: My boss says a gentleman or a lady should only have their names in the paper three times: at birth, at marriage, and death. This is my fourth mention in the Times. Am I a bad person?)
